Don Koehler has over 25 years of experience in real estate, litigation and business transactions for diverse law firms in Oregon, Missouri, Kansas and a Fortune 500 company in Iowa.
Don has been involved in significant real estate and financing transactions, including the purchase, sale and leasing of commercial properties, construction lending, mortgage lending, property management agreements, refinancing and development. Don’s experience includes transactions ranging from negotiation of residential purchases and sales to development and leasing of high-rise office buildings, office parks, shopping centers, and industrial parks. Don has also handled environmental matters with properties located in Texas, New Jersey, Florida, Tennessee, California and Oregon.
As a commercial litigator, Don has handled matters relating to construction defects, real estate equity, real estate lending, personal injury, environmental issues, employee benefits, pension and ERISA, banking, class actions and securities.
Don was previously Of Counsel at Portland law firm, Cable Huston LLP for four years. At Cable Huston his practice included drafting and negotiating documents and agreements for business, real estate and lending transactions, in addition to commercial litigation and appellate practice.
